Costa
Rica has long been recognized as one of the world’s best
sport fishing destinations. Costa Rica's waters literally
teem with big game fish: Dorado averaging 40 pounds, Big Yellow fin
tuna and one of the largest
concentrations of big Pacific sailfish found anywhere. In
fact, Costa Rica boasts one of the healthiest billfish
fisheries in the world. Unusually calm waters and short rides to
the fishing grounds cement the country’s place at the top of
the big game fishing destinations.
Los Sueños /
Jacó / Playa Hermosa
 Central
Pacific sport fishing starts at the incredible Los
Sueños Resort and 220 slip marina, located just 3 miles
north of Jacó. You can catch Sailfish, Marlin, Dorado,
Yellow fin Tuna and Wahoo. Or if you want to do some
inshore fishing, you will be fishing for Roosterfish,
Jacks, Snapper and Grouper. This is blue water
conditions at their best in typically flat calm waters,
82 degree weather and plenty of sun.
 With
Sailfish averaging around 100 pounds and greater, you
can experience the thrill of Pacific Ocean fishing in
beautiful Costa Rica.
While
being an angler’s paradise, the area also offers
numerous other tourist attractions such as nature
reserves, water sports, whale watching as well as top
class beach resorts. In recent years, Costa Rica has
increasingly become a popular eco holiday destination.
We are currently offering a trip to Tortuga Island,
which provides an opportunity to do a combination of
fishing, snorkeling and sightseeing.
Tamarindo
 Though
Tamarindo has seen a recent growth spurt over the past 5
years it has managed to hold on to its
far-side-of-the-world appeal. We have one paved road
coming in to the city and million dollar mansions just
off dirt roads. We have heard Tamarindo referred to as
summer camp for adults, as it still feels a little bit
like the "Wild West" might have. You won't need your
Pradas here as bathing suits and t-shirts are common
place.
Tamarindo is located a short 45 minutes from the Liberia
International Airport (LIR). If you have special
